Rajeevnath to head Kerala Chalachitra Academy

Malayalam film director Rajeev Nath has been elected as the new chairman of Kerala Chalachithra Academy, which was put on vacant after the resignation of director Priyadarshan from the post of chairman. Rajeev has won both National and Kerala state award for his direction. Joshy Mathew will assist him as vice chairman.

 Rajeevnath's "Janani", which was released in 1998, fetched him National award
for best direction. His latest venture is "Rasam" starring Mohanlal, Indrajith Sukumaran, Nedumudi Venu, Varuna Shetty, Nandhu, Ambika Mohan and others.

 In place of Beena Paul, new member is Indu Sreekanthan, who has been appointed as program director. Aryattan Shaukath and Ramachandra Babu have also included in the executive committee.
