Madhu bestowed with Padmashri..

Padma Shri Award for Madhu
Veteran Malayalam actor Madhu has been honoured with prestigious civilian award Padmashri, while famous singer S.Janaki has get the Padmabhushan award. At last, administration system admires the actor Madhu's contribution to the film fraternity.

 Madhu was one of the colleague with Amitabh Bachchan in the movie "Saat Hindusthani" released in 1969, which marks the debut of versatile star Amitabh Bachchan. Now Madhu's career span over 5 decades
in Malayalam Cinema inspires many future aspects and well being of skills he had showcased on the silver screen.

 79 year old Madhavan Nair (Madhu), got familiar with Director Ramu Karyat in his stint at National School of Drama, where Ramu Karyat offered Madhu his first Malayalam film "Moodupadam", but his debut movie was "Ninamaninja Kalpadukal" directed by N.N.Pisharody, because the later one was released first rather then his acted movie.

 Ramu Karyat's "Chemmeen" determined the character of Madhu's multilateral facets of his talent to the world. "Line Bus", "Bobanum Molliyum", "Vidyathikalle Ithile Ithile", "Ollavum Theeravum", "Kallichellamma", "Yakshaganam", "Naran", "Spirit" are few of his films till date. His directorial venture include "Priya", "Sindhoora Cheppu", "Theekanal", "Aradhana" are few, while as a producer his movies include "Edi Vettu Mathukutty", "Ezhupunna Tharakan", "Sharjah to Sharjah" and others.

 On this joyous occasion of celebration, we would like to congratulate the legend Madhu for getting Padma Shri Award.
