August Cinema pulls out of "Antichrist" !

If the reports are to be believed one of the most ambitious projects of director Lijo Jose Pellissery has now facing hard times because of its big production budget. According to the sources, August Cinema India Pvt Ltd. was supposed to be the producer of "Antichrist" Malayalam movie, has now pulls out their hands from this biggie. Huge amount for production seems to be the reason behind this retreat.

 This news came as surprise especially when movie's pre production works
have almost completed. August Cinema banner is the joint venture between actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, cinematographer Santhosh Sivan and Shaji Nadeshan. Epic "Urumi" was the first Malayalam movie that has been produced by this trio. Earlier when the movie was announced it is being also reported that S J M Entertainment are the producers, but later on that also turns futile effort.

 With the genre of horror thriller, "Antichrist" was scheduled for the release around 2014 summer. Prithviraj Sukumaran, Fahadh Faasil and Indrajith Sukumaran are the lead actors and the movie has been written by P F Mathews. Lijo's team of "Amen" will retain again for this film, whether it is cinematographer Abhinandan Ramanujan or music director Prashanth Pillai are there on the cards.

 The production house seems to have taking every steps pretty carefully after the debacle of "Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty". Now what, lets wait and watch for the next step of action from director Lijo Jose Pellissery.....
