S Pavamani Passes Away...........

Malayalam Movies Producer and Distributor S.Pavamani is now no more with us. He was 78 years, died at a Private Hospital on Tuesday in Kochi. S.Pavamani was the founder and General Secretary of All Kerala Film Distributors. His first Malayalam Movie as Producer was Prem Nazir Starrer "Ayodhya" in 1975, Under the Banner of Prathap Films and other movies include Ayiram Janmangal, Aparadhi, Ponnum Poovum, Villakum Velichavum, Uyarangalil, Kaliyil Alpam Karyam, Ashwaradham, Bhoomigeethangal, Pookalam Varavayi, Ente Amma and Gayathri Devi.


                  S.Pavamani Distributed movies like "Avalude Raavukal" and "Nirmalyam", which catch the audience attraction very well and include in his 100 movies as Distributor. Later he also distributed Hindi Movies like "Aradhana", "Haathi Mere Saathi" and "Ganga Yamuna" and So Many movies credit goes to S.Pavamani for bringing Hindi Cinema to the Malayalam. He was survived by wife Sherly and Children Prathap and Sheeba. Hailed from Kozhikode later move to Kochi for textile Bussiness.
