Review : "Karmayodha"

All the Mohanlal fans out there, another film for you. Sorry to say "Karmayodha" is messed up with the good direction by Major Ravi and same man did not maintained the flaws in the script. All we could say its, Mohanlal is watchable in the whole movie, otherwise it pretend to be a fabricated one and climax is one that you can easily predict, at last "Karmayodha" is not a convincing one.

It talks about the atrocities on the woman in today's scenario, A girl got abducted in Mumbai and for this investigation is lands up in the hands of Madhava Menon or Mad Maddy (Mohanlal), is an encounter
specialist, who's don't wait for the order from his seniors else initiates the operation himself. Mad Maddy came to know about the kidnapped girl could be in Kerala, then he proceeds to destination with his other fellow officer played by Rajeev Pillai.

Now in Kerala, another girl goes missing at the same time and Madhav Menon turn his eyes on Kerala links behind the mafia. With leading to the clues, Mad Maddy finds out the trapped girls that scratched the minimal part of this racket and soon he develops that big faces are hide behind this and it going to be a tough time for him ahead, that leads to the rest of the story.

Despite of so much actors, "Karmayodha" mainly focus on Mohanlal, where it could be more exciting by adding bit more of technicalities. Major Ravi's script lacks the forwardness, otherwise a good subject, where Parents can understand the disadvantages of today's technology, where their daughter could easily be targeted. Pradeep Nair's cinematography and Editing by Don Max, calculate the frames correctly.

As "Karmayodha" relies upon Mohanlal, so its been his show everywhere in the movie. Mohanlal did it easily by not bothering the badly written character. Murali Sharma looks favorable in baddies character. Rajeev Pillai, Asha Sharath, Sona Heiden, Basil, Bineesh Kodiyeri, Mukesh, Aishwarya Devan, Sukumari, Sai Kumar and others just supports the character Madhav Menon. Songs are not good as comparable to other Major Ravi films, with the touch of M.G.Sreekumar, while lyrics were penned by Madhu Vasudevan and Murugan Kattakada. For the banner of Red Rose Creations and M.R.Productions, Haneef Mohammed and Major Ravi are the producers of this malayalam movie "Karmayodha".
