Director Shaji Kailas should have to take a analysis on whether this malayalam movie "Madirashi" comes in comedy category or in action packed tone. Rajesh Jayaraman's script played the witch part, as it contaminated the entire scenario. you could end up in a muddle state and give a thought of whats going on.., On the note "Madirashi" is avoidable.....
Chandran Pillai (Jayaram) a widower and always present everywhere when someone ask for help. It all happens in a village, where a teacher Bhama (Meera Nandan) holds a dream to marry Chandran Pillai and much above that Bhama like the son of Chandran Pillai. Bhama tries to woo Chandran on a possible way, but he doesn't want anyone to intrude between him and his son. In this process, Chandran and his associate Jayapal (Tiny Tom) travels to Madirashi for the purchase of a bicycle, where story moves to another level.
In Madirashi, Chandran and his associate Jayapal came across a girl Maya (Meghnaraj), who deprived them of their money each time they had met. On this manner, Chandran left out to help a child with his all being to fought the villain Devaram (Vijay John), which takes us to the climax.
Unnecessary shots works like salt to the bruise and in some humour part, where you end up being laughing at yourself. All credit goes to Director Shaji Kailas and Script Writer Rajesh Jayaraman. Shaji Kailas takes the different path after his earlier flick "Simhasanam" bombed up, but the results are same. Visuals by Shaji are just not matched with the occasion.
Jayaram seems to get in the mess up with the character, which was poorly caricatured. Vijay John showcase some good acting, while rest of the cast haven't find the suitable. Songs can by ignored with the lyrics of Mohan Udhinoor and Tunes were settled by Satish - Sujith. For the banner of Impresario Motion Pictures, Jagadheesh Chandran is the producer of this malayalam movie "Madirashi".
