Padmashri Jayaram.

Malayalam actor Jayaram was recently bestowed with prestigious Padmashri award for his contribution to the Cinema, Jayaram currently working in the malayalam movie "China Town" along with Mohanlal, Directing by Rafi Mecartin. 
                                       
                          Other Padma awardees from Kerala are Director Shaji N.Karun who receives the Padmashri and Poet and Lyrics writer O.N.V.Kurup receives the Padmavibhushan on the occassion of Republic Day Celebrations.
