Review : "Oru Indian Pranayakadha"
Simple storyline have moulded to the nice bit of narration, "Oru Indian Pranayakadha" successfully communicates the pleasant feel that define the relations between humans. Sathyan Anthikad has definitely came up with far better execution from his previous movies. Iqbal Kuttipuram ensembles his delicate touch and the fine performances from lead cast, develops that impression of Sathyan Anthikad movie. On a note of verdict...., this movie deserves your precious time....
Story deals with the life of Ayamanam Sidharthan (Fahadh Faasil), a young politician works as secretary in party's local unit. He is concerned with
his image and do everything to stay ahead in political news, irrespective of its result. District party president Uthup Vallikkadan has all praise for him and supports his every activity, while the things goes opposite when the party decides to field wealthy lady candidate instead of him in election.
In this phase of dejection, Sidharthan opts to take leave from the party, here also face no response from the leader. Here we see the arrival of Irene Gardner (Amala Paul) from Canada, who came to shoot documentary. On her request, Uthup sends Sidharthan to support Irene in finding an assistant in her work. On the lucrative offer of 2000 Rs./day, Sidharthan utilizes this opportunity to become her assistant and there began the feel of affection between them, which takes you to the climax.
Sathyan Anthikad supposedly stick to his basic and that seems to be beyond the scope of understanding. The director conceived the plot in favourable condition, where first half emerge in good manner, while the second half mostly depends on the emotions. Iqbal Kuttipuram's script has its moments with limited scenario. Pradeep Nair's cinematography improved the quality of scenes. Songs have been subtly crafted by Vidyasagar with the lyrics of Rafeeque Ahamed.
Fahadh Faasil adapted the character pretty nicely which looks eccentric and exuberance of his rendering is there. Amala Paul will certainly accumulate the appreciation for this character of 'Irene', proved that she was the right choice. Innocent, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Riya Saira, Prakash Bare and others have done their characters as usual. Central Pictures banner has produced this Malayalam movie "Oru Indian Pranayakadha".
