Bombay Ravi left us.........

Music Director Ravi Shankar Sharma, who was also known as Bombay Ravi in the Malayalam Film Industry passes away on March 7 at Mumbai. At the age of 86, Bombay Ravi left all Hindi and Malayalam song lovers with his soulful compositions, which will remain immortal.


                                            Bombay Ravi's career was consist of ups and downs as Ravi's peak time conquer the big names in the decade of 60's, but later on he took a long break of almost a decade to return to the cinema field. While making his comeback, he turn his chances to the Malayalam Cinema.


                                                       In 1986, Director Hariharan convinced Bombay Ravi to do a Malayalam movie titled "Panchagni", resulted into the several Malayalam hits. Bombay Ravi's malayalam songs
consist films "Nakhashathangal", "Oru Vadakan Veeragatha", "Vaishali", "Sargam", "Sukrutham", "Ghazal", "Parinayam", "Padheyam" added charm to the face of the every malayalee. His last film in Malayalam was Hariharan directed malayalam movie "Mayookham".
