Review : "Face 2 Face"

Family thriller "Face 2 Face" sequenced in a good manner till first half, where other remaining half concentrates of family issue lot more, that it looks not placed in a convincing way. Mammookka's superb performance even not work out to save the leaks in direction and script. On the go, malayalam movie "Face 2 Face" disappoints a big and rest of above, its your choice....

Circle Inspector Balachandran (Mammootty), who loves his ethics and corruption free duty, because of this love he is now under suspension. His mannerism often lands him in the target of antisocial element. Here we
have a murder of a young politician Thomas Punchakkadan (Feroz Khan), son of Varghese Punchakkadan (Vijaya Raghavan) who's been the former home minister of state. In this murder mystery, allegations were raised against Balachandran for the murder, as Thomas Punchakkadan is the man behind Balachandran's suspension.

Investigation of this murder began with SP Ramadas (Siddique) and CI Latheef (Kalabhavan Mani). Despite of being a good friend of Balachandran, Ramadas came with the observation of Balachandran's involvement in the crime. This led Balachandran decides to take on the system to prove his innocence that forms the crux of the story.

Director V.M.Vinu seems to lost the way after the first half, concentrates more of a family drama rather then a thriller. Director also want to narrate the lead character as out of this world, that looks uncomfortable with the loose script from Manoj Payyannoor.

Mammootty as always, gulped the character with ease, but not worth with this kind of script. Ragini Dwivedi doesn't get too much of space to perform, Siddique looks good with his character, Kalabhavan Mani, Vijaya Raghavan, Vineeth Kumar, Kunjan, Mammukoya done their parts in a fine way. Songs can get a try with the tunes of Alphonse Joseph and lyrics were penned by Santhosh Varma and Anil Panachooran. Editing looks good by Samjith and Cinematography is done by Ajayan Vincent. For the banner of Goodline Productions, M.K.Nassar is the producer of this malayalam movie "Face 2  Face".

"Vikramadithyan" Malayalam movie review

Vikramadithyan Malayalam movie review
Well the trip is on the way and director's latest "Vikramadithyan" Malayalam movie tries to explore more of real entertainer. Iqbal Kuttippuram's script was a bit lifeless, however Lal Jose steers the ship with so many years of his experience to reduce the flaws. The film doesn't hold any quintessential effect that one can expect from director's stature. Entertaining stuff is surely there and on that aspect it won't disappoint you......

The story here is of two friends Vikram (Unni Mukundan) and Adithya (Dulquer Salmaan).
