Two Malayalam releases today (Jan.17)

This new year has started off with no major Malayalam movie release on its first week, may be because of "Jilla" effect. Other fact about the less releases is Television channels are not interested in new releases especially in low grade movies. 2013 saw whopping six releases on its first week of January, which include the hit one "Annayum Rasoolum". Now the makers are taking steps in cautious mode to stay away from the satellite rights issue.

 The two Malayalam releases of this week are "Black Forest"
and "Pranayakadha". Joshy Mathew directed "Black Forest" Malayalam movie has Manoj K Jayan, Meera Nandan, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Dinesh, Jinu Joseph, Ashwathy Nair, Biju Krishna Prasad and others in the actors list. Joe Gee storied this movie concentrates on the theme environment, where children's goes to visit their uncle Luke, who lives in the forest. Suresh Rajan has done the cinematography works, while music has settled by Mohan Sithara.

 Aadhi Balakrishnan directed movie is "Pranayakadha", which has Arun Narayan, Govindankutty, Swarna Thomas, Joy Thomas, Urmila Unni, Balachandran Chullikkadu, Jayaprakash Kulur, Lishoy, Sumesh, Thara Kalyan and others in the cast. Shehnaz Movie Creations banner, P S Firoz produced this Malayalam film deals with romantic thriller genre and the youngsters story in the present scenario. Murali Krishnan is the cinematographer and sound designing done by Renganath Ravee. Music direction has performed by Alphons Joseph.

 Well the two movies are in theatres, in which "Black Forest" has won the National Award for best film in Environment category and the movie gets the tax exemption. Share your choice with us....
