Suraj Venjaramoodu bagged 61st National Award for Best actor
61st National Film Awards are on their way of announcement, till now Malayalam cinema has bagged three awards, proud moment for Malayalam is actor Suraj Venjaramoodu has been announced as Best actor for the movie "Perariyathavar" directed by Dr. Biju. It has been shared by two actors, the other one is Rajkumar Rao for the movie "Shahid".

 Dr. Biju directorial "Perariyathavar" Malayalam movie concentrates on
the life of two sweepers, who are encountering the problems because of society's view towards them. Along with Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead, there is actor Indrans also in the major character.

 While Anil Radhkrishnan Menon directorial "North 24 Kaatham" has been adjudged as Best Malayalam film. Best cinematography award goes to Rajeev Ravi for "Liar's Dice". Best Feature Film Award stole by Anand Gandhi's "Ship Of Thesus".
