Actor Augustine's memories past two years....

Malayalam actor Augustine passes away.
One more person from Malayalam film fraternity had left the arena in the month of November and this Malayalam actor's name is Augustine. Today (Nov.14) it past two years of his memories. His last two movie's were "Kadal Kadannu Oru Maathukutty" and "@ Andheri".

 Born to Kunnumpurath Mathew and Rosi, Augustine enter the Malayalam cinema with his immense passion for drama and was a well known theater artist. The first opportunity he gets
with Malayalam movie "Swapnalokam" in 1983, but the role wasn't credited to him. 

 Although he also made it to the few scenes in the movie "Anubhavam" (1976). His main entry to films came with Sathyan Anthikad directed movie "Gandhi Nagar 2nd Street" and the role was being offered by Sreenivasan. Thereafter no looking back for actor, who had acted in movies like "Ekalavyan", "Devasuram", "Chamayam", "Commissioner", "Krishnagudiyil Oru Pranayakalathu", "Aaram Thampuran". 

 "Summer in Bethlehem", "Kazhcha", "Rock N Roll", "Gulmohar", "Thirakatha", "Katha Parayumbol", "Indian Rupee", "Shutter".

 The actor had suffered a stroke in 2010 and since then he wasn't acted in many Malayalam films though he acted in director Ranjith's almost every movie. He had acted in about 100 movie in his career and produced a Malayalam movie "Mizhirandilum". 

 His daughter Ann Augustine is a leading actress in Malayalam cinema and Ann Augustine is married to cinematographer Jomon T John

 He died on Nov.14, 2013 at a private hospital in Kozhikode. He was suffering from liver related problem and has been in hospital for this on several occasion. Apart from Ann, Jeethu Augustine is other daughter. Actor's wife is Hansamma.

 "He did not become an actor overnight. Instead he made use of small roles that came his way and peaked...he had extremely talented film professionals as his close friends," recalls his counterpart and AMMA president, Innocent.
