Review : "Veeraputhran".

Much awaited period film about the life of Mohammed Abdul Rahiman Sahib, who's life between the time of 1921 to 1945 was shown in this malayalam movie "Veeraputhran", Totally a good approach to this period film by Director P.T.Kunhi Muhammed as compare to the other history based movies. Different story, which is new to the big screen and huge star cast led this malayalam movie "Veeraputhran" to better side of the Box Office.

                                   Mainly story focuses on the Mohammed Abdul Rahiman Sahib portrayed by Narain, but this films first scene deals with the research by a professor Vimal Menon performed by Sarath Kumar, on the life of this great freedom fighter, which deepen professor to get in to the way of Abdul Rahiman Sahib, who emerged from the Khilafat meeting to the great philospher. In this journey one more passionate love life of Abdul Rahiman Sahib is shown as he loves his wife Kunjhi Beevathu enacted by Raima Sen, from his heart. but the death of his pregnant wife Beevathu, due to small pox and his newspaper "Al Ameen", started run in to the lose, which shattered this great man. As Rahiman Sahib known for his secular stance, which create more problems for him inside his own den, became the cause of his death. however, this film doesn't specify too much on the death of this freedom fighter. As P.T.Kunhi Muhammed done his best with the script prepared by him on the story of N.P.Mohammed.

                                                    Actors including Sarath Kumar, Siddique, Kalabhavan Mani, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Sai Kumar, Devan and others done their best to be the part of this malayalam film. Narain on his best with the struggle he did to get in to the character of Abdul Rahiman Sahib, as you can see in this movie. Perfect cinematography by veteran cameraman M.J.Radhakrishnan. National award winner Makeup man Pattanam Rasheed justified all the characters. For the lyrics of Rafeeque Ahamed, Govindan Nair, Moyinkutty Vadiyar and Narayana Pillai, the songs were composed by Ramesh Narayanan. Siddique Mankara produced "Veeraputhran" under the banner of ITL Productions.
