Six Malayalam films released today (April 26)

Phew...., this Friday (April 26) brings on the six Malayalam releases, which include three major ones, meanwhile it seems to be tight schedule for the films ahead with some big budget films releasing in the month of May. However makers are happy to get the dates and theatres for the release...., it may be kind of record to release six Malayalam films in a day.....!

 First one to arrive at the theatres is Fahadh Faasil and Anumol starring "Akam" directed by Shalini Usha Nair and produced under the banner of Box Office Cinema. The film has been scripted by Shalini Usha Nair with the revived version of Malayattoor Ramakrishnan
's novel "Yakshi" and the film stars Prakash Bare, Sajitha Madathil, Shelly Kishore and others. Christopher John Smith wields the camera for "Akam".

 Second one to release today is Rajasenan directed "72 Model", which has Sreejith Vijay, Govind Padmasoorya, Vijaya Raghavan, Madhu, Nazrein Nazar, Sabitha Anand, Kalabhavan Shajohn and others in the cast. Chand Creations banner, J Sarath Chandran Nair produced this Malayalam film has been scripted by director Rajasenan himself. Music director is M Jayachandran.

Third release of the day is "August Club" directed by K B Venu and this movie marks the debut of great P Padmarajan's son Anantha Padmanabhan in the scripting field. Darshini Concepts banner, V S Atheesh produced this Malayalam movie "August Club" has Rima Kallingal, Murali Gopy, Sukumari, KPAC Lalitha, Thilakan, Sunil Sukhadha, Shashi Kallinga and others in the actors list. Prathap P Nair done the direction of photography for this film.

 Fourth one to release is Sajan directed Malayalam film "Progress Report", which has Major Kishore, Ananthu, Siddique, Geetha, KPAC Lalitha, Ammu, Sona Nair, Lalu Alex, Sukumari and others in the cast. Kochuveli Films banner, Selvam Thamalam is the producer of this Malayalam movie "Progress Report". Music has been scored by G K Harish Mani.

 Other two releases of the day is Harilal Gandhi directed "Swasam" and A G Sukumaran directed "Ente Puthiya Number", which forms the total of six Malayalam film release on this Friday (April 26).
