"Drishyam" miracle completes 100 days....

"Drishyam" movie's spellbinding efforts are still getting the attention of crowd, even after its 100 days of release. It was released on last year's December 19th during the Christmas season and since then film has went onto rewrite the records that had been established over the period of 85 years in Malayalam cinema. Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph created magic is still there in theatres for more achievements.

 In Kerala, "Drishyam" has completed hundred days with 43 theatres (including three multiplexes in Ernakulam, which became a kind of record itself)
and successfully screened over 23000 shows altogether. The movie was assigned blockbuster tag by film trade pundit Taran Adarsh for its collection over 1 crore at United Kingdom box office.

 In fact film has done good business at overseas market of USA, Australia, Japan, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Canada, China, France, New Zealand. Before Malayalam cinema had saw this craze with Priyadarshan directorial movie "Chithram", which successfully completed 366 days in theatres. Even movie was one of the highest grosser's of that time.

 "Drishyam" Malayalam movie has already broke all kinds of records in box office collection history. Miracles happen once in a while, that too has happened here for Malayalam cinema, what else it has brought back our own Lalettan. A brilliant team effort from the crew behind this movie and a good example set on in the film making.
