Actor Shankar returns with "Sand City"

Well, Malayalam cinema have opened its first Friday of the year 2015 with movie titled "Sand City". With this film, actor Shankar is making his return and at the same time it is his second directorial movie. His last directed film was released in 2009 titled "Keralotsavam 2009" and now he is back after almost 6 years gap.

 The film talks about expatriates based in Gulf countries. It is based on their
life and problems and Dubai is one of the main location. Prajin, Gautham Krishna, Shankar, Thanishka, Varuna Shetty, Jijesh Menon, Sakshi Sharma, Rex George and others include actors list.

 It is being scripted and produced by M I Vasanthkumar. J Sreedhar is the man behind the camera works and Renil Gowtham has prepared the songs.
